What makes the GLP TWYN different from a traditional moving light is its dual-face design.
On one side, the fixture features a 3×3 array of nine 40-watt RGBL LEDs producing up to 4,060 lumens, along with a motorized zoom ranging from 4° to 53°. This gives lighting designers the flexibility to create tight beams, wide washes and dynamic aerial effects from the same fixture.

The reverse side incorporates a hybrid strobe system inspired by GLP’s JDC Burst 1, using 36 high-intensity white LEDs capable of producing up to 22,800 lumens, together with 480 RGBW LEDs producing up to 12,400 lumens of color output.
Instead of dedicating separate positions to wash fixtures and strobes, designers can access multiple effects from a single fixture.

Another feature that makes the TWYN especially interesting is continuous 360° pan and tilt rotation.
Traditional moving heads eventually reach the limit of their movement and have to reverse direction. The TWYN can continue rotating, allowing programmers to create continuous movement effects that would be difficult to achieve with conventional moving fixtures.
Combined with the fixture’s two-sided design, this allows the TWYN to transition between wash, color and strobe effects while physically rotating through the lighting design.
